What is DCF?
DCF (33g/m² = 1.0oz) is a composite fabric engineered from ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers. Pound for pound, these fibers are roughly 15 times stronger than steel, yet so light they have a specific gravity of less than 1.0, allowing them to float on water. This non-woven fabric is created by arranging these ultra-strong fibers into sheets and coating both sides with a polyester resin. Despite weighing an astonishingly light 33g/m², it boasts best-in-class tensile and tear strength. It is fully waterproof and non-breathable. It withstands repeated folding without breaking down and offers excellent UV resistance. With a water resistance rating exceeding 10,000mm, this compact fabric is truly one of the strongest textiles in the world.

Due to the premium nature of DCF, our top priority was minimizing fabric waste, which led us to meticulously refine every detail of the patterns and dimensions. By maximizing the material's potential and stripping away any excess elements, we achieved a minimalist, highly functional silhouette.

To put its weight into perspective, the bucket type weighs less than three "Pine Ame" hard candies, and the waist-belt type weighs less than five. You will experience its overwhelming, feather-light feel the very moment you pick it up.

The seams are treated with a waterproof glue, preventing chalk from leaking and ensuring water resistance under light moisture. *If the water resistance begins to fade over time, it can be easily restored by reapplying a standard tent seam sealer.
